Thanks for posting, Tim! Yes, I definitely think that this guy had some problems with power trips, and I don’t think he’s representative of Wisconsin men. I love Wisconsin and will likely live here the rest of my life. I more so think that people couldn’t get out of the situation without leaving their job because others accepted the behaviors — mostly because they had to and everyone wrote it off as a joke. Most of the other competitors don’t hire often around here or don’t offer base pay for salesmen, so it can be hard for people to find new jobs. It made me sad to witness this and to see a lot of the men not have an out, besides punching the guy every now and then (probably the only job I’ve worked in which you can get in a fist fight with your boss or coworkers and still have your job). I’m hoping that management comes to their senses and fires him — I left several months ago, and I recently stopped in because the woman who replaced me had questions. I asked her how things were going and she told me she was having a hard time because of Jason’s “physical behaviors.” A lot of things go unseen and excused.

Anyway, I appreciate that you took time to comment and weigh in. Thanks!
