Hi Nik,

Thanks for weighing in (pun unintended) — I understand that exercising doesn’t = weight loss, which is part of the reason that I’m trying not to make it about that (as I noted above). I want to exercise to enjoy it — I mentioned weight because it was what made me nervous to go back, that I wouldn’t fit in or would get too focused on weight or whatever. But right now, I’m not focused on exercise’s role in my weight. This way, I’ll be able to make the change to my lifestyle that I’m looking to make, which is to start exercising again, not to use exercise as a means of losing weight (to clarify). I’m happy that you were able to reach your goal of exercising more regularly, too. Congrats!
